I just hope they do some dates in western Canada this time.

i know.

Maybe a vancouver show?

That would rock!

Yeah. For me, either Vancouver or Edmonton would be great. I live in northern B.C. and the Edmonton is only about an hour further from me than Vancouver.

My dad's friend said that since they're in Canada, sometimes they'll just come down to North Dakota real quick and do a show here... I guess that was back when he was my age (the 80's), but that'd be so awesome, I'd even go if it was in Minneapolis!!

Well, I hope to see Rush live in Indianapolis next year as well as London (much nearer my home).

I would love them to play these songs live but would be happy with anything:

What You're Doing

Anthem

Bastille Day

Free Will

Natural Science

Being a late bloomer as far as 2.gif is concerned,

I look foward to hearing the new music along with

all the other 2.gif fans here.

I've been listening alot the last week... When I

say alot I mean I've listened to all of their work

and am really amazed that more was not played

here on the classic rock/rock station. It kinda

makes you wonder who else is out there

not getting air time... confused13.gif

When did you get into Rush then?

(I always like hearing about how other people got into Rush)

This guy I work with, in a different part of the studio lot at Fox in Los Angeles knows 2.gif and every time I'm lucky enough to chat with him at lunch, I try to ask how the new album is going. I have to be careful not to bug him because I know he's busy and I don't want to be rude. So far I learned that he used to know Neils wife Jackie and used to play with his daughter growing up around St. Catherines. He must keep in good communication with Neil since he lives in Hollywood because he sent him a copy of 2.gif Replay X3. Well, he knows Geddy and Alex well too, so it's like I got to meet a crew member and a family friend of 2.gif. He seen that I wear a DW corporate logo hat and he asked if I play DW, I said I play a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz. I'll stick with my current guess and say that Neil will finish writing this month and the album will be out in November, with a tour next year. Hey he can write on his own then get together with Geddy and Alex in September like he says on his site.

Yeah, I'm stoked for the new album whenever it comes out. And I'll definitely find a way to see them on the next tour.

November? No. Geddy said early 07. March or April is my guess, with a summer tour.

And no, Vertical Horizon is not the title of the new album, it is a band. In Travelling Music, Neil talks about being friends with their singer, and I guess in June he recorded a few tracks with them.

I wonder if they'll include Europe next time----because of the
security issue--can't really blame them if they don't want to
risk it sad.gif

The what? Explain..

I think it's the whole mess with what you can and can't bring on planes and all that.

Hopefully, that will all be sorted out by the time the tour comes around.

One of the managers I support is still looking for the (unlocked!) laptop case he had to check as baggage on a flight to Scotland Monday. I don't think it's going to turn up. The sad part is, I warned him several times that he couldn't bring it aboard the plane, but he didn't listen to me...
