I've been listening alot the last week... When I say alot I mean I've listened to all of their work and am really amazed that more was not played here on the classic rock/rock station. telegraphcreeklocal Posted August 13, 2006 Share Posted August 13, 2006 This guy I work with, in a different part of the studio lot at Fox in Los Angeles knows and every time I'm lucky enough to chat with him at lunch, I try to ask how the new album is going. I have to be careful not to bug him because I know he's busy and I don't want to be rude. So far I learned that he used to know Neils wife Jackie and used to play with his daughter growing up around St. Catherines. He must keep in good communication with Neil since he lives in Hollywood because he sent him a copy of Replay X3. Well, he knows Geddy and Alex well too, so it's like I got to meet a crew member and a family friend of . He seen that I wear a DW corporate logo hat and he asked if I play DW, I said I play a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz. I'll stick with my current guess and say that Neil will finish writing this month and the album will be out in November, with a tour next year. And no, Vertical Horizon is not the title of the new album, it is a band. Explain.. I think it's the whole mess with what you can and can't bring on planes and all that. Hopefully, that will all be sorted out by the time the tour comes around. One of the managers I support is still looking for the (unlocked!) laptop case he had to check as baggage on a flight to Scotland Monday. I don't think it's going to turn up.
