Texas King
Steve Perry, a vocalist of a band Journey is widely considered as one of the best rock vocalists. But somehow I couldn't get into his voice, I just don't like it and I always find his singing irritating. I enjoy much more Geddy Lee's vocals than Perry's. Maybe my opinion is unpopular, but so it is. What are your opinions?

Texas King
I must admit AOR is not a good kind of rock music! It was always something much closer to POP-ROCK than HARD ROCK. And overplaying of certain songs on radio stations is one of main characteristics of AOR.

Its my second favourite Toto album so I have no issue with that haha Or third...Isolation has gone way up for me
Mosher
Most of the time, yeah. Used to hate it, though...back when it was cool to hate Journey. "Faithfully" gets me every time. I remember it being so very cool to dislike Journey. It was okay to like 'Wheel', but nothing romantic, ever. Even so, I liked his voice and frankly I liked many of their hits. I don't know anything other than the hits, so I can't fairly comment on Journey. But Perry's voice? Most excellent.
