  4. Alter Bridge It's been a long time since I felt this in love with AB. I know fans on TRF disagree with me, but I didn't think Walk The Sky was a great album (just very good). But the latest album, Pawns And Kings, has restored my adoration and love of this band (who I used to rank in my top ten). Oh gosh it's been great getting back to them, especially ABIII and The Last Hero, two albums I forgot I loved to the extent I do.

  11. When I saw the title my mind went to they're re-issuing Archives, which wouldn't serve any practical purpose but I would actually like a spiffy new copy, mine has been around the block a few times

  14. Tonight, it was a TX fall favorite, Tamales! There is a local family that makes the best Tamales ever and sells them by the dozen. Tonight, it was the Beef and Bison tamales with their homemade salsa Verde and tortilla chips. Paired with a nice Pinot Noir. Normally I go with beer with spicy foods, but these are fairly mild. Viva Tejas!!!

  20. My mom sort of dragged me to that movie on Thanksgiving weekend. Kristen Chenoweth and Sissy Spacek were hilarious, though.

  21. Beautiful fall days, leaves changed and will be falling before long. 70's during the day and 50's at night, perfect just wish it would last. Went to a football game Saturday night and only needed a hoodie due to a slight wind. Loving it.

  22. I think the reason why a lot of women relate to this novel because it's about living in someone's shadow. You should never allow your partner's family or friends to make you feel like you're not good enough or that you're a placeholder for someone else. I imagine that this is how Camilla Parker Bowles felt when she married King Charles or how Princess Diana felt when she was also married to him. Eleanor Roosevelt said, "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Everyone has baggage, some more than others. You just have to acknowledge that and do your best to navigate your way through it. The last part of the novel is really fast paced. There's a twist that you don't see coming. It changes the way that you see the characters and their motives.

  23. Doubt I would be interested but you never know until you see it and it was gone before I had the chance to do that.

  24. Because we’ve all been talking about this now for what seems like forever and no one has actually said that they are going or not many anyway.

  25. Yes, I agree. It's nowhere near sold out and they keep saying they have more guests and artists to introduce, they're not saying anything and it's now only a month away.

  26. I had a ticket but got it refunded after the last rescheduling, as I now live too far away to reasonably drive down for it. The vagueness of the whole event is really unfortunate. If it felt better put together, I might be willing to put in more effort to get there.

  27. If we could actually get something rock solid, I'd be interested. I live only a few hours away.
