So, I'm set to retire June 22, so I figured I'd better log into my District leave account for kicks to see how many sick days I'll be leaving behind. Over 180 days on the books. The beauty part? I also have three personal leave days on the books, which means I'll be retiring three days earlier! :7up: http://igtrcn.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/June17.jpg5 points

I'm a CD guy. I'll buy digital on rare occasions, but I prefer something tangible. Lyrics, artwork, etc.4 points

Waking up, looking out the window, and seeing the sun shine through the beautiful old oak tree just outside. Seriously, it's the most gorgeous live oak tree right there.4 points

That's happened to me too. Quite a few times. I'm not one to contain myself when stuff like that happens either. Yeah, Depending on the situation. I have no patience for rude lazy people at the store I am at. But every time I go to the store. I expect it these days. Pisses me off. it's like their is no common courtesy. Here's a recent conversation regarding train commutes... Me: Man, some of those people on the train really piss me off sometimes. My Friend Steve: Definitely. I wanna spit in someone's face at least 3 or 4 times a day. Me: That's fewer times than before! Nice!4 points

I don't know if you are serous or not. I do not remember JAG. Not serious. I should start using emoticons when I'm trying to be sarcastic or funny! :) Emoticons are important. I've gotten in a lot of hot water by not using them. :sarcastic: I am glad that the thread didn't go to waste. Treeduck and Friends seem to be having a good time. Treeduck and Friends sounds like a good name for a kids cartoon :D3 points

I like having a hard copy on CD, but I digitize them and listen to them in a digital format.3 points

CD's are my preferred obsolete media Always had a car with a CD player I use spotify if I'm just at home. I don't own everything, nor do much in the way of stealing music.3 points

I used to let people get away with crap all the time, and it really took a toll on me. Now I just let loose because someone has to raise a huge portion of society. Plus, I'm a really big sob, most people just stop and capitulate. Not that I really ever would hit anyone, I'm pretty much a pacifist. But they don't know that :)3 points

I had a cheap mp3 player I used for a while...didn't like it Since I like listening to full albums I just go old school with my trusty Discman player.3 points

CDs, I think. But I have been guilty of listening to most of my music on my iPod over the last several years. So does that mean I listen to digital most often now? Or because most of the stuff on the iPod are CDs I ripped to my computer first does that mean I still listen to CDs? Complicated listening times we're living in now3 points

That sounds like Jordan from the movie Real Genius :D Great movie! Cute girl! Jordan: Are you peeing? Mitch: I can't start. Jordan: Because I'm here? Mitch: Yes. Jordan: Weird. Ok, I have to go. ((abruptly scurries off full of nervous energy)) I ALSO HABE A SHY BLADDER! I need to see this film...sounds like my biopic... I think you'd like it. Mid 80s Val Kilmer is pretty funny in this. And it has that dickhead from Ghostbusters who's an even bigger dickhead in this. He's perfect in that role! A lot of witty lines in this. Plus, given your appreciation of 80s music, I think you'd probably like the soundtrack too.3 points

I'm in this school of thought. Love all their pre-Deris albums. Once Deris comes in I can't stand them. I love Helloween no matter what!2 points

Oh, yes, of course. I thought you meant him. Y'know, it seemed a bit daft, me havin' to guard him when he's a guard. ...and he's been making a big name for himself at the recent Assizes at Exeter. I love the Scottish Assizes. I know what they mean by a really well-hung jury.2 points
