  4. The lady bugs are trans now, I decided
  5. Didn't Page own Alistair Crowley's pad in Scotland? The place where Crowley did a spell, you're really not allowed to break half way through. Crowley saying something like, "sod this, I'm off to the pub" . Stopping the incantation, abruptly without finishing, which was a taboo apparently for this particular spell.
  6. Lady Bugs that identify as male???
  7. i made a coming out post on fb as both a queer and a Christian. it will be fine! it will be fine! grandma may not understand, but it will be fine!
  8. Black Sabbath-Sabbath Bloddy Sabbath (9/10) Felt like hearing my fav rhythm section today. Mick
  9. No, it's fine. You may still turn out to be Nostradamus. It could happen in the next round.
  10. The early run of Dickinson albums are, at best, as good as these two. Not better.
  11. Definitely Unchained above Flying High, but when it comes to both these albums head to head this was freaking hard. I'm gonna go with Fair Warning only because I'm an even bigger fan of Van Halen than I am Ozzy (but both are still all-time faves).
  12. that's what's actually cool about Hysteria being so long. Folks can make their own versions. i agree about Excitable. the definition of filler and a tossed off rocker. Mick
  13. I would cut Excitable and Love And Affection. Excitable just seems unnecessary and Love And Affection is pretty much another try at doing a song like Hysteria. Except they got it perfect with Hysteria and they didn't have to duplicate it on the same album. Shotgun and Run Riot are fun rockers that I think have a place on the album. Run Riot is a good call back to their High N Dry/Pyromania sound and I felt that helped it to stand out a little bit on the album.
  14. Bon Jovi 1. These Days 2. New Jersey 3. Crush 4. Slippery When Wet 5. Bon Jovi 6. Have A Nice Day 7. Lost Highway 8. Keep The Faith 9. What About Now 10. Burning Bridges 11. The Circle 12. Bounce 13.7800 Fahrenheit 14 This House is not For Sale 15. 2020. Their are some from the newer....."newer" era i love like Lost Highway and have a nice Day. But really Once you get past crush. classic Bon Jovi to me is done. Some like Bounce but that album to me is the first indication of a real change in the tide. The odd man out here is 7800 Fahrenheit. a real sophmore slump IMO. even the band from the recent documentary said it was rushed after the song Runaway took off and their not much happy with the results. I'd blame their recent Shitty work on Sambora leaving but it was getting there prior. Jon's voice was declining but the bigger problem is he wanted to be more of a "serious" songwriter. And that ain't him. he writes best with ballads and party rock anthems. We see the result of serious Jon. it's 2020.....and it sucks. honestly this band should disband. he can't go anymore. But i love the golden era of Bon Jovi. Mick
  15. Not a hot take at all, it's a classic for good reason. For me though, this album is frontloaded but I tend to lose interest towards the end. I'd put this above PM myself, but below Imploding The Mirage and Battle Born (my fave).
  16. Perhaps an uncool take, but for me the only Killers album that comes close to this is Pressure Machine.
  17. I think I've been in a Technical Ecstasy phase, I probably added too many of those songs, though I do like them.
  18. Totally agree. Fantastic songwriting skills and understanding of complex chords.
