Within Temptation- The Silent Force Though I think the material on Mother Earth is more soulful, and The Heart Of Everything is a far more ambitious work, I maintain that The Silent Force is WT most perfect album start to finish.

This farewell concert was pretty good in general. Only Iron Maiden was badly missing and it's shame that they couldn't participate in the concert, at least one of their memebers (for example Steve Harris), if not the whole band.

Now: Dream Theater- Parasomnia Outstanding! Hadn't played it for ages and it is even better than I remembered. Dream Theater, Nightwish and Lacuna Coil have recently delivered some of their best work, and I am so happy.

This was very sad news .

It is . I'd like to try the cherry taste but I haven't found it yet. Maybe it's not available here in Finland since it's not among the most popular tastes here. The salty licorice ('salmiakki'), on the other hand, is a holy thing here.

Just thought Pantera didn't play well. Charlie is a great drummer, but just doesn't have the Pantera groove. Sounded loose. Holts guitar sounded very midsey, didnt fit.

I would concur with a lot of this - Hagar wasn't good at all and David Draiman's voice was not suited to the material. I also thought the mix for Gojira was poor and to be honest I hated Corgan. Otherwise I was happy enough with the day!
