As I was thoroughly enjoying the R40 tour this year (saw the 3rd show in St. Paul, and the scopes for most of the other shows), I ended up compiling a list of existing DVD-released performances and adding to it as the R40 setlists unfolded.  I think this is pretty accurate, but I welcome critiques (or possibly someone else has done something like this) . . . .  it appears that, assuming that everything that was played on the R40 tour ends up on the forthcoming BlueRay, that Rush will have officially released 112 of their 189 studio songs in a DVD format (just under 60%).   I have a big list and some stats in Word and Excel docs, is there a way to upload them for everyone?

112 of 189 is pretty good. My only disappointment is that my favorite songs are part of the 77 that didn't get played. I'm not complaining though!

This would work for me but as with the show I saw it really "starts" in earnest for me at Animate. Also with a couple notable exceptions the "Bonus Disk" isn't much of a bonus. Just my opinion of course. Just praying the thing doesn't make me dizzy this time and I mean that sincerely. Please guys and gals do this thing right!...:)

I'm guessing the official job will be the complete 2nd night in Toronto, which included How It Is, Between The Wheels and Losing It.  Bonus outtakes from night 1 will be Clockwork Angels, One Little Victory, Distant Early Warning and Red Barchetta (although I remember this having some goofs).  And surely at least partial Working Man from L.A. will be an extra.  Hopefully a nice long behind- the-scenes feature as well.

Not enough, but we'll have to take what we can get.

They played Natural Science at the second show. I know it doesn't say they did on the website but there are videos on youtube.

I've heard that TCE was filmed in KC similar to the OH Atlanta stuff on S&As... In addition, I wouldn't be surpised if they bootlegged the bootleggers... *cough* *cough* Pink Floyd *cough*cough* https://www.youtube....h?v=zEOc2yPnfa0

My guess is the DVD setlist will look something like this:

DISC 1

Between the Wheels
Losing It
Subdivisions

DISC 2

Tom Sawyer
YYZ
The Spirit of Radio
Natural Science
Jacob's Ladder
Hemispheres: Prelude
Cygnus X-1 / drum solo
Closer to the Heart
Xanadu
2112: Overture / The Temples of Syrinx / Presentation / Grand Finale
Lakeside Park
Anthem
What You're Doing
Working Man (with final bow from Los Angeles 8/1)

DISC 3

Clockwork Angels (Toronto 6/17)
The Wreckers (Boston 6/23)
One Little Victory (Los Angeles 8/1)
Distant Early Warning (Toronto 6/17)
Red Barchetta (Los Angeles 8/1)
The Camera Eye (Boston 6/23)
Limelight (Kansas City 8/4/13)

I went with the setlist I have as the main show for a few reasons. Even though 'How it Is' has never been on a live release, I just think 'One Little Victory' is a better song overall, and especially with the fake flames and real flames at the end. It's just more uptempo and more Rush through and through. And the song is very symbolic to them during a certain period.

As for Distant Early Warning vs Between The Wheels...I just think they will go with the bigger hit for that slot. I was more excited to see BTW going into my 4 shows, but after seeing it in
Newark compared to the 3 times I saw it in Toronto, Montreal Nd New York, I just don't see them NOT including DEW into the main show.

Red Barchetta vs YYZ is a toss up. I just feel like they will go against the grain and choose the vocal song over the "obvious choice in YYZ" instrumental. I'm probably wrong on that one though.

In any case...I look forward to the Bluray release. I just really pray for some long 10 second shots that zoom in and slowly pan out, rather than the constant add editing that seems to happen nowadays.

It would be very cool if there was an extra of Losing It with Jonathan Dinklage - maybe footage from the rear -screen cameras.  He absolutely killed those solos - and it would be so cool to include his take.

Of course, now that I have jinxed it by suggesting that they do something cool, they won't do it...

Actually, I think a related question would be: how many songs of the ones Rush have played live have made it to official releases?  That's got to be a high percentage

All of the extra footage would be from Toronto as well, so no Wreckers, but that's just my guess
