Zotz :)

What is a Zotz? :D

It was a candy that was out when I was a kid. Hard candy with fizzy stuff in the center.

I haven't had them since I was a kid but I always remembered the name. I may just order some for the heck of it since they're still available.  :)

I wonder if they taste the same?

Most of the candy bars that have been around since I was a little girl don't.  Chocolate isn't as thick for one.  Especially the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Mars Bars, Snickers and Milky Ways.    The only one that still tastes good to me is the Fifth Avenue Bar.

I think the chocolate isn't the same. It doesn't seem as creamy and as good of quality.

Not to mention the shrinkage of the candy bars too.

Oh right! I'd forgotten about that.

Favorite chocolate bar-Tolberone Green (dark chocolate).
Favorite non-chocolate candy bar-Zagnut.

You all are right, the quality of chocolate in candy bars has gone down. If I really get a hankering I stop at my local Whole Foods, they usualy have Callebaut or El Rey (Venezuela), whose dark chocolate is a joy.

Then there is the candy store-To the Moon in Wilton Manors, FL:

I used to love Godiva dark chocolate raspberry truffles. I haven't had one in years though.

I've never had anything of theirs that wasn't the best thing ever.
