Yep that's the one

"It ain't a fit night out for Man or Beast" :LMAO:

I'm surprised he stopped long enough for his picture to be taken. He does know when the camera is pointed at him it steals his soul, right???

"So, Carrie. What first attracted you to the multi-millionaire rock drummer Neil Peart?"

"his moustache"

I don't understand.

Well, when I think of Neil I automatically imagine Neil circa '83. After the gaunt look but before the rat tail. Before the goatee. Before the girth. Before the Mr. Magoo look. Before he let himself go. ;)

That's funny but I'll always think of Neil as The Farewell To Kings, long haired, mustache and skinny as a rail drummer in some obscure Canadian band from Toronto.

It's connected to my age. I was 9 when I got into Rush. And Moving Pictures was the new album. I had already heard AFTK but Cygnus X-1 was a scary song to a 5 year old me. Think I was more into Bugs Bunny, Legos, and Lincoln Logs at that age anyway.

I was 21 when Moving Pictures came out. AFTKs was my first album and exposure to the band so maybe we just always associate something to when we first got exposed to it.

Neil always seemed upset when I exposed myself to the band.

Neil's looked shit since Vapor Trails era. Obviously his family tragedies took a toll on him.

He's looked haggard. (Not as in Merle lol)

Didn't he look really muscular and more trim on VT? If I remember right from the boys in Brazil documentary.

He looked really young on the T4E tour by comparison to VT.

So you're the one he's been hiding from all these years. Now we know why he doesn't do the meet and greets.

I believe it

It's from an actual photoshoot done tongue-in-cheek where they had guys dress up like biker babes.

So, this is real?

Yes, Neil has always been a transvestite.

In fact, Cinderella Man's original premise was about the pleasures of dressing in drag. However, Geddy wasn't comfortable singing those lyrics so Neil changed them into the final version that we know. Luckily, after much research, I was at least able to find one section of those original lyrics. It went like this:

Cinderella Man

Dressing as he can

Most can't understand

In his genes

This would be funnier if Cinderella Man wasn't Geddy's lyric.

You got someone asking if this was real or not and you're giving me "This would be funnier if Cinderella Man weren't Geddy's lyric"? Work with me! ;)

((Besides, believe it or not, it actually WAS intentional because I KNEW someone here would mention it))

Jokes aside, he is openly transvestite & proud.

I don't know where x1 is getting her info from... The motorcycle modeling was not tongue in cheek, and it wasn't done with the members of Rush. The photo shoot was done of just Neil and his "bitch boy"

I'm not sure why you're saying what you did. I never said the shoot was done with members of Rush. And yes, the actual shoot was tongue-in-cheek, a spoof on all of the ads with girls doing sexy poses on motorcycles: http://www.demilked.com/hot-mess-motocorsa-ducati-panigale-1199/
