I never saw this video before on account of the fact that MTV was after my time and I rarely watched it much in the eighties 'cause I was rarely home. I know most of you don't like Geddy's look during this time period, but I still do.

I'm gonna gush over Vapor Trails. I love this album's raw emotion. The emotion is what makes it so good to me. You can tell they were going through a difficult time while making it. I also love how HE

While at the dentist for my semiannual checkup, I requested the hygienist play Rush over their Pandora. Before I knew it, "Subdivisions" and "Tom Sawyer" were rocking the Casbah.

I would get very excited if I were anywhere and Rush came on.

 

That's one way to make a trip to the dentist enjoyable! :)

Yeah I have a feeling it will do that to me too and just in a nostalgia way, not in a "it's really bad way."

Today I was thinking about not being born before. Not to get 'the golden time' of the band.

Not seeing enough concerts I wish I were.

 

But... I'm so glad about getting born in 80. Where I was born and why.

As a person and as Rush fan.

 

As Rush fan.

 

I'm a proud (in a good way) Rush fan, as all of us here. :)

 

I love the fact of other people around the world talk to me about their passion for the band, rock, music, Alex, Neil and Geddy; what all these do to us.

What this incredible band do for themselves, us and to us again.

 

I simple adore when people have great ideas to share the band gushing, saying, showing, researching, playing and laughing.

 

All Rush fans united as possible for the Rush cause.

Those who love to share their personal adventures, pictures, collections, travels, meetings: all about Rush.

 

 

I happily went to a single concert that was worth for my entire life!

Haven't played Rush in months.

 

Decided to change that today and went for an easy listen: Presto.

 

Today marks the first time The Pass hit me deeply. I think recent low points in my life have given this song a relevancy it didn't quite have before.

 

Presto, the title track, remains one of their most beautiful melodies and lyrically I love it.

 

Chain Lightning remains one of the most charmingly odd songs I've ever heard.

 

Red Tide is extremely underrated...I actually think it's one of their all time classics.

 

Available Light is Geddy at his best ever vocally.

 

All in all...I really loved my first Rush album in ages!!

Prime Mover for me. I don't love it, but

I like it, which is a huge step up.

Its top ten for me, this album.

 

I don't think I will ever understand the production being as poor as it is, today I really noticed it. But I forgive it everything, just as I do Vapor Trails, because I adore the material.

I'm going to gush over this video from A Show of Hands. Oh, how I would have loved to have been in that audience!

A Show of Hands was a great way to introduce myself to their music.

It made me relax and get into the notes. It made me love the band even more in a moment where difficulties came around.

This concert is memorable!

I wish I was there too. Simply one of the best ever!! :rush:
