Red Hemispheres and Hemispheres Picture disc

How many original versions were released? There's the red one, black version and a blue one too I recall..?

 

When you say "blue one" are you talking about blue vinyl or just the later Canadian re-pressings that used a stock Anthem label as opposed to the custom brain label? Because I have never seen a blue vinyl Hemispheres but have a vague memory of a mention of it on a web site a long while back.

 

That's pretty much all I have too.. A fuzzy memory of their being a blue vinyl copy available at some point..

 

After a quick image search I think the blue copy might be the picture disc.. It's mostly blue

Never heard of a blue vinyl Hemispheres. I'm guessing it's a reference to the picture disc as well. Folks on ebay will bid like crazy for these, but if you're lucky you'll find them in used stores or record shows for 40 bucks or under.

 

The ABC show (Agora Ballroom?) was released on blue vinyl.

I bought the picture disc brand new out of the delete bin at A&A's for $4.97! Later on I foolishly traded it for 2 Alice Cooper albums. I have regrets. Still want one but I have imposed a $40 limit which when looking at ebay seems unrealistic. However I still have my original black vinyl and red vinyl w/poster.

I just have the original US and Canadian vinyl which includes the picture disc the red vinyl, the custom US and Anthem brain label and the reissue black US and the reissue blue Anthem label.

 

Don't have any Hemispheres vinyl from any other countries other than the US and Canada

I have both the red vinyl and picture disk, bought new back in the day! Actually had no idea about the red vinyl until I opened it up, surprised to see a poster tucked away as well! Great memories.

I now have 3 of the normal Hemispheres vinyl. And I am kind of happy with that... but I am trying to find the red version and also the picture disc.

 

Is it someone here that know where I should look, and how much are these worth?

 

I have multiple copies of both. To be honest I don't think they are worth that much. They were years ago. I found a sealed Hemispheres pic disc for 30 bucks. Not a cut out.

Red vinyl isn't worth much anymore either.

Do they sound different from each other? I´m sure some audiofile will come up with a reason why each colour has an influence in the sound...
