A Few Odd Things From St. Louis

The first is that I have never seen the relentlessness of the staff to hunt down and find smokers! :smoke: They were swarming everywhere!!

The next two happen during intermission:

I was sitting in the first row of the 1st full section from the stage and during intermission the lady behind me was crocheting away like a mad lady. No big deal, just a little odd to see a rock concert.

This is the bizarre one. A guy a few seats over from the lady that was crocheting came up to me and said, I really like your band! I said excuse me my band? Yes he said I came all the way from Chicago to see your band and it is great! I just look at him and said I don't understand what you are talking about! He said it again and I just gave him this look. He finally just threw his hands in the air at me and went back to his seat. He must have been the one who was smoking to much :P :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

In Lincoln some assclown threw up repeatedly into a multitude of plastic bags a few rows in front of me.

Are you kidding or are you serious? If you are serious, he should have been escorted out. I don't pay a lot of money to go see a band to sit amid the smell of vomit from someone who thought getting drunk at a concert would enhance his experience.

Be thankful the person was a few rows in front of you. If he was next to or behind you, then you would have probably got some splatter on yourself.

Smells like my Tulsa experience.

Probably on crank, meth users are always looking for something to do. All crack heads do is look for a way to get another rock

I'm no longer up on drugs, but what is the difference between crank and crack? How do you do crank? I know crack is smoked.

I'm asking because of my neighbors. They are on either one of those. up all day and night for days, then the place is like a tomb; then it starts again.

Crack is the freebased/rocky form of cocaine.

Crank is a powdered form of amphetamines/methamphetamines.

I'll have neither, thank you very much!

I'm serious. He did get escorted out thankfully. Someone was smoking weed too.

The Who played Chicago Wednesday Night. The smoke from the maryjane was affecting Roger Daltrys vocals, so he asked the crowd not to smoke the stuff. Pete Townshend commented that He had hearing problems, deal with it it's a F*cking Rock concert.

I wasn't sure whether he was serious or not, but if he was, then Roger and Pete should call it a day.

LOL. Really? Because I tend to find - particularly at indoor arenas - that avoiding the smell of vomit and/or urine is pretty much impossible.

There's always somebody- a lot of somebodys, actually - who's ruining the show for the people immediately adjacent to them. :(

One of the worst offenders? :) People who don't know how to STFU during the songs with their loud incessant cheering YEAH GEDDY YOU RULE NEIL ALEX YOU THE MAN AW YEAH....blah blah blah.

For the record...it's okay to cheer and scream between songs. It's not okay to cheer and scream over the songs as they're being played.

You'd think it was rocket science.

Friggin' drunks. :)
