Lorraine
I want to download this Police Live 2008 Madrid. It's really good. Better than their 80s stuff. Are the places that allow you to download it safe? http://www.aiomp3.com/mp3/the-police-live-2008-madrid-rock-in-rio-new-source-dvd-full-download.html Edited July 16, 2016 by Lorraine
Lorraine
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but it appears to me that when they are on stage, they use no triggers for added enhancement of their music. Is this correct?
EagleMoon
Really liked them back in the day when they were together. Synchronicity came out and that's when they soured with me. Just too much 'every breath you take' pop drivel. As time goes on, they become more and more uninteresting. They overplayed the faux raggae "ayyy o" stuff. Stewart and Andy are great players, but I struggle to think of anything significant they've done in the past 30 years. Theres nothing of the sort on that album. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call The King of Pain "pop drivel.King of Pain is one of my alltime favorite songs by anyoneMe too. Me three.
EagleMoon
This is great. Stewart Copeland looks better than all of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1scw9LnNZ9A&feature=player_detailpage That beard doesn't do Sting any favors.

Is this correct? Their music was pretty basic so my guess would be that if something is triggered it might be done offstage.

He didn't age well. He looks good though considering.

Rod in Toronto
Yeah, I chose to ignore Sting's lute album, the Christmas one, Symphonicities and The Last Ship. Something tells me it was the right thing to do.
Babycat
Surprisingly, I've only ever heard two songs by them: Message In A Bottle and Every Breath You Take. Three, if you count Sting's collaboration with Mark Knopfler on money For Nothing
