Lorraine Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I can play this game too. I'd love to hear this song again, and Geddy could handle it. 3
Narps Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Thank you. :sigh: My favorite lyrics all time. If I ever get another tattoo, this song and lyrics will be incorporated somehow... 1
Geddy's Soul Patch Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 One of the most emotive Rush songs musically. I didn't fully appreciate it on the Time Machine Tour, would love to see it brought back again 2
Lorraine Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 In my opinion, this song would have fit on A Farewell To Kings musically. I love the music and love the lyrics. 1
The Analog Cub Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 This song's always welcome in the set. My favorite incarnation of it is on the Snakes and Arrow Tour. 1
Lorraine Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 This song's always welcome in the set. My favorite incarnation of it is on the Snakes and Arrow Tour.I just watched it and you are right. What a song!
laughedatbytime Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) Another thumbs up. It was great on the TM Tour, I appreciated every second of it. Didn't see it on the S&A Tour. Did they play it there? And if so, was it after the extended segment of S&A songs or before? I would have loved it if it was played before, not so sure about after, it would have depended on whether I had woken up yet... Edited April 22, 2014 by laughedatbytime 1
Mara Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Mmmm, there are about 30 other songs I'd prefer. I like the lyrics and the music captures the intent perfectly, but it's one of those songs that an occasional play sustains me for quite some time. 2 tours in a row was plenty. 2
Geddy's Soul Patch Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 This song's always welcome in the set. My favorite incarnation of it is on the Snakes and Arrow Tour. While I do enjoy the S and A version, the GUP version is the best IMO. Geddy's vocals were outstanding back then, so much emotion... 1

This is EXACTLY how I feel about Witch Hunt
J2112YYZ Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I really like the song and wouldn't complain if they did it again but since they played it two tours in a row recently, I would prefer something else.

It was in the second set after all of the Snakes and Arrows songs, around Subdivisions and Natural Science. 1
RushBoingo Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Why ask for just witch hunt, I want all of Fear 2
GeddysMullet Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 This song's always welcome in the set. My favorite incarnation of it is on the Snakes and Arrow Tour. I love Geddy's moaning and howling at the end.
x1yyz Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Why ask for just witch hunt, I want all of Fear Even better. This would be excellent. 1

I'm going to watch it right now.
Lorraine Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Geddy at his best and the absolute height of his good looks!!! When he tosses his head back..... 1
losingit2k Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Only if they bring back the rest of the Fear Quad! :codger: 2
laughedatbytime Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Only if they bring back the rest of the Fear Quad! :codger:It was originally a trilogy, and should remain that way live. 1
Disk98 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 It's nice to see all the love Witch Hunt is getting. Very good, underrated song that really didn't belong on Moving Pictures. I love the way Geddy sings it nowadays, and I wish they'll bring it back next year. 2
bathory Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 witch hunt's underrated?? by the general public, sure, but by our crazy asses?
