One hell of a Poll Treeduck !

I`ve been a Stones fan from about 77 onwards and my last album I bought was Tattoo You and then after that , I think they were very poor .

I will be interested to see if anyone is going to vote for anything past ... Well Tattoo You .

My 3 .

Sticky Fingers

Let It Bleed

Some Girls .(just for the brilliant Far Away Eyes really)

Get Your Ya Ya`s Out is Prob the best live album .

Ya Ya's is one of the greatest live albums ever. So loud and loose.

My current favorite is Let it Bleed, but I go back and forth between that one and Sticky Fingers.

1. Let it Bleed

2. Sticky Fingers

3. Exile

No real surprises, I don't think. I will venture to say that their best post-Tattoo You, by far, is Voodoo Lounge. Always loved that record.

I wonder what they mean by ya ya's? :o

Not that. Getting your ya yas out means roughly the same as letting your hair down.

Here's an explanation:

The title of the album was adapted from the song "Get Yer Yas Yas Out" by Blind Boy Fuller. The phrase used in Fuller's song was "get your yas yas out the door"

Exile

Sticky

Goats

I've been a hardcore fan since 1966 after I heard "The Last Time". I've seen them on every tour ( that passed through the NY area ) since 1972.

Good thread !!! :notworthy:
