Lerxster
Again? It's a shame, cause those boys can rock.
J2112YYZ
Scott is touring right now and he's playing the first two STP albums in full. So, I guess him getting fired was something he knew about for awhile.
GeddysMullet
Why does this sound familiar?
Rod in Toronto
I think he did a great job in STP and Velvet Revolver (expect on the Van Halen covers when they inducted the band in the RRHOF - painful to watch!!!). As a person though, I imagine he´s tough to hang out with - that´s the case with most drug addicts.
Rick N. Backer
He apparently said he was interested in a reunion of Velvet Revolver, but Slash indicated that wasn't happening. Stay with Myles.
rushgoober
As far as I knew this group hasn't existed since the early 90's?
the masked drummer
I hope his current band is better than the one I saw him with last time he toured solo, for his sake.
Rushman14
I just saw that on the who gives it sh*t channel.
rushgoober
I just saw that on the who gives it sh*t channel. I saw that while flipping through channels - something about the grunge movement, and how the band has been "spectacularly irrelevant" for almost 20 years. I only caught a few seconds of it. It was a special correspondent form Seattle with greasy hair and a plaid flannel shirt on.
Rushman14
I must say they were great back in the day. Edited February 27, 2013 by Rushman14
CygnusGal
That's too bad. He's very talented and STP puts on a hell of a show. I saw them open for RHCP about 15 years ago and STP blew the doors off the joint. They were better than RHCP that night. Velvet Revolver never did much for me. the masked drummer
STP was great in 1994 at cobo hall, but its been downhill steadily for stp and scott since then. He's about one step above Layne Staley. I say he doesn't make it to 50. Who's wants a wager via Paypal? (sorry, scott) :D-13:
