One thing I love to do during the playoffs is listen to the other team's sports talk radio, and read it's big newspaper's sports page. If any of you Hawks fans are the same way, here's a link to the Bruins' flagship station:

Here's the two newspapers' sites:

http://www.boston.com/

http://bostonherald.com/

Unfortunately, too many people today care about Tebow. :rage:

I just listened to a little bit of 98.5 the sports hub and yes, regarding Bruins, all I got was a combo of Jack Edwards.

Belichick brought in Tebow as a favor to the Bruins, so the media would be distracted from their getting swept. While the media is reporting that Tebow's contract is 2 years, it's actually a ten day contract, so it will expire at just about the time hockey season is over in Beantown.

4 straight for the Hawks eh? I mean, I know the Bruins don't belong on the same surface with the Hawks, but I just don't seem them getting swept.

I don't know anyone in the national media who thinks the Hawks are going to win. But of course they probably believe that since Crosby couldn't do it, nobody can. :P

Stalberg out for Bollig? Really? I thought Quennville was savvy enough to avoid falling into the "you have to goon it up against the Bruins" trap. We saw this with the Leafs and Colton Orr...the Bruins just have to not fight the guy and he becomes functionally useless as a hockey player.

There have been 0 fights in the Western Conference this postseason, and only a couple in the East that weren't in the third period of an out-of-reach game. Fighting in hockey- as a tactic, rather than an outlet for impotent frustration- is basically dead. I don't know why an NHL coach in 2013 would ice a player who doesn't contribute anything other than the occasional punches to faces.

Stalberg hasn't been playing well in these playoffs but replacing him with Bollig seems to be Quenneville's way of saying "We have to adjust to Bruins because they are the favorites" That, and splitting Toews and Kane is a head scratcher now. President's Trophy winner doesn't behave that way. Why not wait and see how the first game goes? We have physical players who can take care of themselves. Bollig is only going to get us in penalty trouble.

I see this as more of a message to Stalberg than anything. Stalberg has been a non-factor in these playoffs, and that is a shame, because with his speed, he should be contributing. If being a healthy scratch for a game doesn't light a fire under Victor's butt, I don't know what will.

In that case Saad should sit down also and you might as well bring in Carcillo. No, I hate these changes. You're not even keeping the 4th line together. I expect Hawks to be very sloppy in the first period and then Quenneville going back to what got us this far.

I certainly don't understand breaking up Toews and Kane right now. We'll see if there is something up Quennville's sleeve soon enough.

This series will come down to goaltending and the nullification of the Hawks speed. GO BRUINS!

Peace

You could see that coming. :sigh: Bruins 1 Hawks 0

Not a lot of hard hitting so far in this game. Which favors the Hawks I believe.

You don't need to hit if you are the Bruins who are simply skating twice as fast as the Hawks

We're sloppy, especially in our end and I thought Bruins did a lot of hitting. Men against boys so far...
