Hotel California?

 

I know a lot folks here are not fans of The Eagles, but still the guitar interchange between Felder and Walsh in that song is really good. Also, the last track on the same album, The Last Resort is worthy of consideration too.

Both are epic songs! :haz:

I could literally list a bajillion epic songs from the 70s but I'll stick to songs strictly over 10 minutes for this top 10 list :)

I am slightly prejudiced against The Eagles, but they did have some good songs, and Hotel California is pretty darn epic. It's one of those classic songs like Stairway To Heaven and Bohemian Rhapsody, just a tad too overplayed to make my list.

 

I prefer THIS song as one of the great epics of the 70's by an Eagles member:
