Steevo Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Ok with all the Monster talk it's got me charged for the classic material again. You know what to do. Hit it!
Stormtron Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 RARO is more consistent, but I gotta go with Love Gun for my personal preference. I Stole Your Love, Shock Me, and the title track are probably in my top five overall Kiss songs.
greg2112 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) Rock and Roll Over, the best studio album of the classic era hands down. and...on another note...what about MONSTER?? Cant stop listening to it. Edited October 19, 2012 by greg2112
Presto-digitation Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Outside the great Alive!, Rock & Roll Over is my favorite Kiss album.

treeduck Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Classic KISS throwdown?? Is Gene taking on Ace in a studded gloved fist fight?? Or is Paul Stanley getting ready to punish Vinnie "The Dead Dog Collector" Vincent once again, in a stilettos at dawn showdown??

Is Gene taking on Ace in a studded gloved fist fight?? Haha, have you read Ace's book yet? Ace's book is a SNOREFEST. What you want is Peter Criss's book, out next week....with claims of Ace Frehley being bisexual, Paul Stanley being a pill popper, etc. Sure to be an entertaining read and far more pointed than either Gene's or Ace's.

Speaking of VV, I thought this was kinda interesting on his playing for the Lick it Up track: "The guitar bridge after the second iteration of the chorus was intended to be a full-fledged guitar solo, however, it is said that the solo recorded by Vinnie Vincent was not approved for the song, and he was asked by Gene Simmons to make another solo. Upset, Vincent made a bridge followed by a breakdown instead."
