Maximo Park - A Certain Trigger

Nice choice there, I've seen em a couple times, very top notch.

I've been digging a few of their tracks on XM, may have to pick that one up sometime.

Here are my recent pick ups:

Sam Roberts Band - Chemical City

The Stills - Without Feathers

Pilate - Sell Contol For Life's Speed

Mobile - Tomorrow Starts Today

Jeff Martin - Exile and the Kingdom

All friggin' rock (except the JM one, still not all that into it yet).

1/6 from Futureshop came in today...

1. Fort Minor- The Rising Tied

For the people that say that there is no good rap out there....

If you really wanna hear good rap, check out Saul Williams.

'Death By Sexy', by Eagles of Death Metal, (...a very misleading band name...)

I bought this one today as well biggrin.gif And it is a misleading name...it's actually bluesy garage band- style rock..sounds like classic early 70's Stones (the music anyways)...Josh Homme From The Queens of the Stone Age (for whom he plays guitar and sings) plays drums on this....the band is him and his best friend (from when they were in their teens) Jesse Hughes(vocals) who is actually a journalist...a bunch of others guest on it (including Mark Lanegan and Jack Black)

This is actually thier 2nd album..I haven't heard their 1st one yet...

I also got Neil Young's Sleeps With Angels, Van Halen's first album (I'm rebuilding my whole collection) and a Jimi Hendrix DVD of his full show at Woodstock....

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell

This is a great album, despite not having Roger Waters. High Hopes and Keep Talking are terrific.

It was actually me becomming addicted to Nightwish's cover of High Hopes that inspired me to get the album...
