Just being at that show! When I was walking up over the lawn to see the stage and there was Neils kit. In all its glory and the sun striking it making it shimmer. It was just an awsome sight, also when Alex came out with his double neck Gibson on, and you know what that means! XANADU was played.

It is very cool that they are filming there.. though it should be Pittsburgh, haha -
I think its really for those people who are below average players who have more money than they know what to do with and to say hey ive had this guitar for ever!! Its just a giant marketing ploy IMO

its been a while since i last posted here so for all of you who show there rigs, here is my rig after saving and swapping out effects and toying with the sound to find what i like best. The rack case was custom built by Calzone Cases in a custom color blended for me (you will laugh at this) its Wendy's Cup Yellow (i worked there for 5 years and had to pay homage to it LOL) Then starting at the top of the rack: Furman PL Plus II followed by a 1997 Digitech 2101 (yes just like Lifeson used on the whole Test For Echo Album and tour) Then a Lexicon MX200 again followed by a DBX 266XL compressor/gate and then a BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer, and finally the B-52 AT-100 with Sylvania 6L6 power tubes and Sylvania 12AX7 tubes all from the mid 60's (i have a small stock pile of 1960's tubes i found at my dad appliance store. all of the tubes are new old stock! i was like SCORE when i found them!!!) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/IMG_0218.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/IMG_0219.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/IMG_0222.jpg

Heres what i have running.. I use the 2101 for the quad detune patch, which i think is totally killer. The 2101 has nothing to do with my "overdrive or clean tones" except for the detune feature, everyting is running through the loop, i also have a boss GE-7 through the loop for some added mid's and top end. If your looking for the best all in one processor, and keep the 2101, i would go with the Line6 X3 Processor. Its got everything for Bass, Acoustic guitar, electric guitar. heres a couple pictures of my rig, just for some ideas.. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/100_0907.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/100_0906.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/100_0908.jpg

QUOTE (CygnusX-1Bk2 @ May 2 2008, 07:22 PM) So I am installing the ProTools HD system in my new office at my new job. This is the second time I have installed one this year because I put one in my home studio a month back. Now my home studio is almost all pro. Launch will be happy (or disappointed) to know that I am skipping on building the Neve inputs (too much hassle for me) but I will be putting 8-12 SSL mic pre's on my home system (like those used on Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures) in addition to 4 - 8 channels of TL Audio tube mic pres. Whoo hoo! Fat drum tones coming! can i come laydown some tracks??!?!?!?!?!

Hey everybody. Since i work at guitar center, i have all these cool contacts... (right...) well anyways, i called up my rep and then i called the direct line to the custom shop, (since i have that number..) and i talked to the head of the shop, and we were talking about the Lifeson guitar.. he said, they are producing it, and they dont have a date yet when we can expect it, BUT he said i will be out before the end of the first quarter of the year.. Gibson and Lifeson's managment are talking about licensing and stuff like that, but look out, only another month or so till it comes out!!!!!

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/100_0906.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y194/DefRushFan/100_0908.jpg Heres the live rig! Its a B-52 AT-100. I took out the Digitech GSP2101 and i put a rack drawer in, and im getting a new Digitech GSP1101 for the rack (thinking about it) but right now im just running the B-52 and my newly updated pedal board consisting of in order from left to right (Ernie Ball VPJR, Cry Baby Classic, Boss TU-2, Boss DS-1, Boss MT-2, Line 6 MM4(modulation modler has chorus, flanger, rotary speaker, and the such) Line 6 DL4.) If i dont get the GSP1101 i might get the AM4 (amp modler) to get some more tones at my toes.

QUOTE (alphseeker @ Oct 8 2007, 02:57 AM) QUOTE (mortkort @ Oct 7 2007, 05:52 PM) no one interested in this? thought i could bump it just in case. heres a clip i found of the amp http://www.soundclick.com/pro/view/01/defa...57&content=song http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r113/mortenmat/Line6SpiderValveBogner.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j199/bauhaus92/line6.jpg At $829.00 its a little steep for me - I'm happy with my flextone III plus that i scored for $250.00 brand new at guitar centers list sell. The clerk gave me the wrong amp to his managers dismay. Thats pretty sweet dude, but you got that Flextone for WAY less than cost. I work at GC and i believe cost on a flextone is around $385 ish. And one more think, the guy that sold you the amp is not a clerk. Were not clerks we work off comission so that makes us sales guys!
