  1. It is very cool that they are filming there.. though it should be Pittsburgh, haha
  2. Ive had the new album for 3 weeks now, and i HATE IT! It sounds like 6DOIT and TOT. It is one of the most booring albums by DT. I thought TOT was a bad album, TOT is way better than this. I think DT has 1 or 2 albums left after this one.. p.s, everybody can hate me now....lol
  3. Rush Def Leppard Kamelot Dream Theater
  4. wow, i just got their new album, and man its their most uncreative album. I think they have 1 album left after this one before they call it quits..or lets hope so at the rate they are sounding....
  5. Im going to see Kamelot in August in New York, and also in Cleavland then the G3 tour in Ohio somewhere..Rush is on the bill along with Def Leppard if they ever decide to get the new album done..

Geddy and Alex play completly different parts, and it adds so much more to their sound. as with DT you cant really make out the bass in some songs. JM needs to learn how to play different parts than what JP plays. He's definately too muddy to me. Does he really play same exact notes as JP, though? no. but he does at times. but only to emphasize a part or get that added extra thickness to the song. listen to Trial of Tears, Lifting Shadows Off A Dream, Learning to Live, Octavarium for some real good JM playing. Yeah but their parts should never overlap, because its only a 4 peice and the keys can add that depth, while JM can play a melody as JP plays the chordal parts... its all objective. i think there are parts when geddy should do something more than play roots long with Alex, but i didnt write it. i appreciate it for what it is, not what i want it to be. im not bashing them, i think it would create more space if they didnt overlap their parts...

If it comes on the radio i usually change the station, but if its being played live, or on dvd or sumthin, i usually leave it stay, cause i love the visual of the band playing it, it just gets booring when its on the radio or on random play on Itunes..
