As promised in my Green Day thread, I picked up Against Me!'s New Wave. Never heard a note of this band in my life. But I think I'll like it.

Also picked up the new Common album, Finding Forever, which is pretty dope, as well as the deluxe edition of DJ Shadow's Endtroducing....

Bought a legit hard copy of Kid A by Radiohead.

Isn't it gorgeous, too? I love the foldouts and "hidden booklets" within the booklet.

Yep, good booklet. I actually just found out about those "hidden booklets" a few weeks ago.

Nice, I'd like to know what you think of that Against Me!

I was just thinking about it, and now that they're getting more popular I think their concerts will change, unfortunately...

I'll miss that...

Yes. The artwork, like the music and lyrics, is very bleak, yet hauntingly mundane. Who hasn't felt that way?

The last albums I bought were:

Counterparts

My Favorite Headache

Black Market- Weather Report

I'm also planning on getting Frank Zappa album (I dont have one yet...). Any suggestions?

Yeah... start with his 1969 jazz-fusion album Hot Rats. All instrumental album with the exception of one song with only 1 1/2 minutes of vocal, and Zappa doesn't even sing on that one.

Thanks, I'll check it out...
