bytor1965
The last CD I bought was Endless Wire from The Who. The next one I'm planning on buying is John Mayer's Continuum. By the way, I was listening to Gravity today and all of a sudden Life Without You by Stevie Ray Vaughn came into my head. I had to run down into my basement and throw on the Soul to Soul Cd to confirm. Does anyone else think John may have been subconciously inspired by that song? Kudzu
The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse by The Besnard Lakes. Very weird, trippy, experimental post-rock...pretty good, though, with some absolutely classic moments in places.

Kudzu
QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Feb 26 2007, 08:22 PM) QUOTE (Kudzu @ Feb 26 2007, 04:07 PM) Bought Parachutes by Coldplay WHY??? Because I like Coldplay. It's not a virtuoso band that produces incredibly complex music, by any means, but it has a bit more ambition than the average adult alternative FM radio band does and it's nice to just chill out to. Got Crash by Dave Matthews Band today. Hoping to pick up some more Porcupine Tree fairly soon...my impressions of Up the Downstair after two listen-throughs are favorable. It's not a "classic" album, but it definitely hints at "classic" potential for the band (and, as Porcupine Tree's first real album, circa 1993, one would rather expect that they have at least partially capitalized on that potential by now). And the way it opens just brings a grin to my face.
