PuppetKing2112
I went shopping today. Guns N' Roses - Live Era: 1987-1993 (Used for $10) Oasis - Definitely Maybe (Used for $6) Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam (Used for $8) Tom Waits - Orphans box set (I'm so lucky...this was released a month ago, and it's already out of print...since it was so popular, they're reissuing it with a scaled-back 24-page booklet. However, at the store today I found the LAST COPY IN STOCK of the original, which is bound like a hardback book and has a 94-page booklet. $40 is a pretty good deal)

Mandalorian Hunter
She finally get's some Muse! I only had 1 CD for Christmas, which is the norm. Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack, all three of them, and it's excellent. Today i picked up Peter Gabriel - Hit, and Editors - Back Room which i think is excellent. Tomorrow it'll be Sam's Town/Hot Fuss (Any recommendations?) - The Killers and Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds

Muse is excellent! Oh and Howard Shore rocks! I have all the soundtracks as well

Terrible, terrible album. I made a thread on it back when it came out. It's a f***ing disaster. Hot Fuss is good though, and so is the Justin Timberlake. What Bowie do you have? You should start on that.

PuppetKing2112
QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Dec 27 2006, 02:22 AM) I don't have any Bowie at all, don't know why either. You should get on that, definitely. Absolutely anything from 71-80 is classic. Station to Station and the Berlin albums (Low, Heroes, and Lodger) are my personaly favorites, but maybe it would be best to start with some of the glam-era Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane stuff. Excellent choice...that's my favorite of his. It was the only one of his there that i had any interest in. No Low, Heroes or Lodger. So I went with it. I'm not too keen on glam at the moment. On Golden Years atm, and i like it, glad i chose it over Jet.

Jet is awful. I read somewhere that Shine On's meant to be a mini masterpiece. Anyway, Very good album, I think i'll have to get a few more of Bowie's albums.
