  1. I saw the first leg of this tour in Chicago and I decided not to peak at the setlist and be surprised. I have to admit it caught me off guard a little bit. The first set has a lot of songs that I wasn't expecting. The second set is mostly Clockwork Angels which I wasn't as familiar with as I wanted to be. Hard to sing along. Don't get me wrong.. It was a great show, but I think I will enjoy the second leg of the tour more now that I have rehearsed my singing along with the playlist. I'm totally pumped and ready to go. I also have read the CA book since then and listened to it a lot more and am really looking forward to that part of the show the most. I love the strings! I just wish they would play Losing It or Tears. I'm hoping there is a R40 tour with all of the greatest hits and some more from the first four albums, even if it is an overture like on R30. Would it kill them to at least play the kick ass drum solo and some of the awesome riffs in The Fountain of Lamneth. I'm serious. How about In the End too! So many great songs. My favorite newer song is How it Is from Vapor Trails!. I could go on forever! Can't wait till Friday for Round 2! I really want to hear Wish Them Well this time around. Didn't hear it on the first leg. :7up: :7up: :7up: :7up: :smoke: :smoke: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:
  2. I have one extra ticket for the June 28th show at Midwest Bank ampitheatre in Tinley Park. Will sell for face value $157 Section 103 Row M Seat 27. Call or Text me at 630-400-4236. Jim Harmon Must be a True Rush fan. There will be a quiz!
  3. Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, I just listened to how beautiful the song Losing It is. I so wish they could ad this to the set list in between The Garden and A Farewell to Strings...Spirit of the Radio. I'm thinking this is probably the only tour that they will have the strings available and they are such an awesome addition! BTW I went to the first Chicago show and I think they played playlist A. So I'm hoping for playlist B obviously. I need to here Wish Them Well. Ultimate Wish list song would be How it Is from Vapor Trails! See you in Chicago! :7up:
  4. QUOTE (rushfanforever! @ Sep 17 2012, 01:33 AM)I hope I didn't piss anyone off by blocking their view with my set of WI license plates. If so, sorry!!! I was having too much fun at the end of the show!! For reference, I was in Section 2, row 14...behind the loudest clapper on the planet!! Clapper Dude, if you read this, please just holler/yell for future shows..your clapping is rather annoying IMO!!!!!!!!! Was the clapper guy directly behind you? I know I was in the row behind you. Third seat from the aisle. I hope I wasn't the one bothering you. If so, you could have turned around and told me. I know I was yelling, applauding, singing, jumping, raising my hands in the air, and dancing. I thought this WAS proper etiquette at a ROCK show in the first 15 rows! The one thing that DID annoy the hell out of me was the ushers coming by every two minutes telling people to put away their phones. Major distraction! I am starting to find the phones themselves to be a little annoying. I mean if you want some good video of the show, wait for the blu-ray DVD to come out. It is much better quality and doesn't block the view of the person clapping behind you

  7. No wait!!! It's Bastille Day! That's it! That's the ticket. I'm living in the past! I'm living in the future! I'm going crazy in the present! Waiting for September! Waiting for June. Hurry up! I need my Rush!
  8. In my first listen of Headlong Flight at about 43 seconds into it, I flashed back to Beneath, Between, & Behind. Am I going crazy or does it remind anyone else of that song/era?
  9. best I could get by the time I got my head out of my ass was section 4 or 6.
  10. I can get section 4 for the venue presale. Anyone know the livenation password?
  11. Does anyone know the live nation or venue presale password for today. I never got the newsletter.
  12. I kept ending up with crappy choices on the Musictoday presale, so then I went to the VIP Nation site and it said the VIP packages were sold out at 12:08 pm. Kept refreshing and sweating and swearing, then finally they were available again and I bought one for $325. Crazy stressful! My wife is gonna kill me, but it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission! We only live once, right? Can't wait! See you in Chicago people!
  13. Does anyone know the presale password for the VIPnation ticket package going on sale today at noon?
  14. Ouch! That's harsh. I think both songs rock and can't wait for the rest of the album.
  15. The last CD I bought was Endless Wire from The Who. The next one I'm planning on buying is John Mayer's Continuum. By the way, I was listening to Gravity today and all of a sudden Life Without You by Stevie Ray Vaughn came into my head. I had to run down into my basement and throw on the Soul to Soul Cd to confirm. Does anyone else think John may have been subconciously inspired by that song?
