The first CD I've bought in a long time, and man it's good!!!

Anyone who likes prog rock with a heavy edge should buy this album NOW!! (Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the concert in Toronto FYI.....I'll be there). 1022.gif

Finally filled a gap in my collection I've meant to remedy for years, but never got around to it -

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

Ooohhh, I forgot about this band. My buddy in university hooked me on My Bloody Valentine along with countless other bands like Lush, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, and many others that I would never have considered at the time (I was strictly a metalhead back then laugh.gif )

Time to revisit some of these groups....thanks for the memory jog Madra!

Awesome dude! I recently got into them as well, and I just picked up the album In Absentia a few weeks ago. Definitely worth getting!

Anyways, new Opeth album Ghost Reveries is coming out THIS TUESDAY!!! I can't wait!

Bought these over the period of a week or two...:

Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: III

Gentle Giant - The Power and the Glory (35th anniversary edition)

Opeth - Ghost Reveries (Got it today!!!)

All three are incredible albums, and Ghost Reveries... GAH! *Eargasm*

Either it or Frances the Mute (The Mars Volta) is album of the year. I'll have to give them both some good listens before deciding though...

Its really good. I cant base it off of previous DCFC stuff cuz this is the first one I have, but there are a lot of great songs on this. A couple skippers, but for the most part, incredible song writing. I especially like the Lennon, Imagine feel that is on Different Names for the Same Things.

I might buy Depeche Mode "Playing The Angel" in October but not sure about it yet. But next year, I am buying the new Enigma album in late 2006 for sure. I do love Enigma a lot though.
