rrzubnyy
How many songs from CA will the band play on the tour? 1. Caravan 2. The Anarchist 3. Seven Cities of Gold 4.Headlong Flight 5.BU2B 6. The Wreckers 7. The Garden They could play Carnies instead of BU2B or just include it.. 7-8 songs from 1 album? I think it is going to happen... Thoughts? OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan
I used to complain that I only wanted to hear the older material, but now I only want to see this entire album performed live....and the rest only older material.

Thoughts? You missed the title track. That one, for sure, will be played. It hasn't even been played once yet, and I read an interview with Neil where he said he 'hopes it stays in the live set forever'. (I believe this is from the fanpack magazine) They must like it. pedro2112
Most of this thread is speculation (of course). We can say with a reasonable amount of certainty that the following songs will be played: Caravan BU2B Headlong Flight Clockwork Angels The Wreckers (if this is the next single as is suggested by the sticker on the CA CD). If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say the following songs will also be played: The Anarchist Seven Cities of Gold The Garden Halo Effect Lifeson did state in a recent interview they probably wouldn't play all of CA on the first leg. However, it is Lifeson saying this, and he rarely knows what he's talking about regarding Rush and their setlists.

Dream-Theater*#2358
If they don't play the whole album, I think they will play these following songs: Caravan (For sure) BU2B (For sure) Clockwork Angels Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold (or The Anarchist) The Wreckers Headlong Flight (For sure) The Garden (Especially since they are touring with a string section) Edited June 23, 2012 by Dream-Theater*#2358
Checkster2112
I could do without BU2B2, Wish Them Well, and maybe Carnies if they decided to cut a few.
GuitarPlyr01
They seem pretty adamant that they're looking into bringing older stuff back. Which I honestly don't think they've ever done. They've said one or two older songs, but not as much as they're supposedly saying this time. CwA Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Headlong Flight The Wreckers The Garden Older songs Prime Mover Nobody's Hero Manhattan Project Losing It Bravado Countdown Mission (even though they just played it) I honestly think "Losing It" and "Countdown" will be the furthest back they'll go, with the exception of the usual songs. mazyyz
After hearing the album several times and their nods to having a orchestra or a string section I think it will start in the second set like this: Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold The Wreckers Headlong Flight ...basically the first nine songs. ReflectedLight
the anarchist, carnies, headlong flight, and halo effect would be good enough for me and still leave plenty of room for other songs. hoping they don't eat up setlist time with anything from s & a. goose
QUOTE (wilb1972 @ Jun 18 2012, 07:05 AM) Caravan and BU2B will get played for sure. Clockwork Angels Carnies The Anarchist Headlong Flight The Wreckers Wish Them Well The Garden I'd like them to drop Caravan and BU2B and instead open with Clockwork Angels. Then Ged could introduce the new album, say there's much more to come later, and launch into Subdivisions/Analog Kid back-to-back.

Actually, I didn't listen to the song too much until later and I agree 100% that they will play this song...After one spin through I was too focused on The Anarchist, Seven Cities of Gold, Headlong Flight and Carnies. After hearing those songs numerous times I am on to the others now... Edited June 26, 2012 by rrzubnyy
