Alien Shore is a very good song, and one of the songs that has grown on me the most from that album.

I love that whole album, but I think DOUBLE AGENT would be incredible! Between the song itself, and what I think they could do for stage production with that tune would be rock star indeed!

I'd like to hear Double Agent on this tour but they've already done 2 tracks on the last tour so its unlikely we could get anything deeper this tour. Never hurts to hope though, right?

I think Alien Shore needs some more love. That song kicks @ss! Neil's funked out snare rhythms and the searing guitar work... great stuff.

 

edit: actually, nevermind... it would get the same Animate treatment, and lose its magic. So I'll go with CTTC instead

I went with Between Sun and Moon (YEEHAW!).

 

But for real, they played two from Counterparts on the Time Machine tour.

 

They need to play something from Test for Echo instead- either Driven (the more realistic choice) or Dog Years (in my dreams).

I went with Animate, but only if its in the original tempo. Otherwise, I would've gone with Cold Fire, followed by Cut To The Chase, and finally Between the Sun and Moon.

Animate, as long as they actually play it at full speed and not that slow version the did for R30. Drag city!

Animate is easily one of my favorite RUSH songs.

However, as people have mentioned already in this thread the tempo along with the horrible arrangement they played on R30 really turned me off to the song live.

 

 

Yes, I'd LOVE to see it live again.. but only if it's at the proper tempo AND not the abridged arrangement.
