Return of the Epic

Here's what I'm wondering, What would Hemispheres sound like tuned down a step? I personally like 2112 as they perform it now. It's so heavy. I wonder if Hemisphere would have the same feel if it was tuned down for Ged.

I agree. I think it's going to be either Jacobs Ladder or Xanadu next tour!

I'd vote for Cygnus X-1 Book I or II, but Geddy couldn't pull it off anymore, so they won't play neither of them. Same with Fountain, I guess.

 

But then again, he does 2112, so who knows?

I had this same feeling for Snakes 2007, 2008 and the TM tour.

God I hope your right. I have not given up hope for Jacobs Ladder but I am also not expecting it anymore. So it will be a true treat if they dust off that gem. Some of Alex's finest guitar work ever on that song.

Realistically speaking, I think Xanadu will be the one they bring back. But strictly from the point of view of wishful thinking, Jacob's Ladder would be ideal, to say the least.

Realistically, I am hoping for Xanadu. It is one of my favorite songs, and not one that I've had the pleasure of hearing live (only seen S&A and TM tours).

 

I would love to have an instrumental abridged version of Necromancer. Some of those riffs are so heavy!

I loved the R30 anthem, and a medley of classic riffs would be cool as part of an encore or 1st set closer.

Well its seems its between Xanadu and Jacobs ladder! I'm actually hoping that both are in the set list for the next tour! Jocobs Ladder in the first Set and Xanadu at the end of the seconds.

I guess the Epics are going to be "Headlong Flight" plus what ever other Epics are on Clockwork Angels!
