psionic11
So this song somehow has come back into my playlists. And it rocks. Just wanted to give props to an old classic: Fast punk speed, length, and angst. Crunchy guitar. Prog-rock math changes with the swing part at the end. Classic Neil double-meanings and philosophical ramblings. Pure 3-piece power trio goodness, with above average bass and vocals. And Neil's drumming is just positively over the edge in creativity and energy. All this at just 3 minutes...
Enemy Within 77
It's a good tune, but not one of my favorites.

Cyclonus X-1
Cool track. It's one of those early Rush tunes in which the Zeppelin influence is rather overt, and I remember thinking the first time I heard it that I'd probably never view it as much more than a generic rock tune. However, there's so much energy put into it by all three players that it's very difficult not to be won over by it in the end.
Invisible To Telescopic Eye
Didn't care for it years ago, but think it's great now especially from E...SL.

Mika
Definitely one of my older faves. I love the fast, punchy vocals, hitting hard on the syllables, and how the beat changes for the last verse. Powerful little song!
circumstantial tree
I like it. As a matter of fact, I believe it's the first song Neil wrote lyrics for. To me it sounds a lot like "Four Sticks" from Led Zeppelin.
1 of the 7
It wasn't one I really dug at first, but since I realized the meaning, it's grown on me a lot.

Weakly Criminal
The lyrics were never more meaningful than they are now. How the mighty have fallen. The music is timeless.
