nobodys hero
There was a free download of a new song the other day but I didn't get it
Rick N. Backer
I listened to this today on the train to work. If you like Paul's voice, and I do, it's a great album.
Stormtron
I'm sure Ringo's record label is thrilled that Paul released an album a week after his.
The Cat 3
OK, so I was almost afraid to even listen to this, but today was the day. I happen to really like it a lot. I have everything Paul ever released and this is just another chapter. Definitely, a "you have to be in the mood" for this kind of thing. It reminds of when Rod Stewart put out the first "American Songbook" record. I loved it instantly. By the fourth "Songbook" release, I had almost given up on Rod the Mod. (Rod needs to put out an good ol' rock and roll record, doesn't he?) So, while I like the new McCartney disc, I hope it isn't such a hit that he follows Rod down the lounge lizard road. Apparently, he has another album on tap for 2012 and it's pop/rock oriented.
drbirdsong
I got it today and it is just wonderful. Where did he get that voice? I thought Paul had nothing left after 2001, but he really presents a velvety smooth vocal on this release. Mellow, yes, but if you are in the mood then it will sing you to a most pleasant sleep. Lerxster
It's a lovely album. Pretty mellow for the most part, but just lovely. Much of it is like jazzy cocktaily music. Paul's vocals are simply wonderful. Nice and up front. I woke up with Always in my head this morning. Yesterday it was My Valentine- a real quality composition. I just wish Baby's Request was on it! Heard it on Breakfast with the Beatles last Sunday and it's fabulous! Get Yourself Another Fool.. I can't help but think that was included as an FU to Heather. Clapton's work on that one is tasty. This album is some good old time music done right.

Hatchetaxe&saw
This is a gorgeous album. The brushes, the fiddles, the strings, it's just so lovely. And perfect for Valentines! His voice still has the boyish tinge, but it's rounder and deeper, as he continues to gently rage against the dying of the light. Get the deluxe version!! 2 extra tracks and a live album download!  And postcards!!!!! I LOVE postcards!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!  All you metallers can go back to sacrificing your goats and the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Rick N. Backer
QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Feb 13 2012, 05:17 PM)Worst album title ever. I actually think its pretty funny. For anyone who doesn't know (and I didn't until I listened to the album) Kisses on the Bottom refers to a girl placing lipstick at the end of a letter.
