Is this as good as Every Which Way But Loose ?

Great movie, with an unexpected ending.

Gran Torino. Clint really makes a very good film.

+1

Clint is one of kind, as an actor and director. This movie says so much about life and how you should live it, the lessons the boy learned from the old man are priceless and also funny.

Why don't you just go home?

Pal, I've been asking myself that all night.

this was great;

[after witnessing a murder through a window]

- I'll probably get blamed for that.

Yeah it's just as good and the fight with William Smith (Wilson) is excellent.

I can't believe I watched this. Nick Cage is the worst actor and this was ridiculous....but it kinda worked. It's in the grind house vein of movies and it sort of plays on "B" moviedom. Nick Cage should stick to this kind of crappy movie 'cuz his crappy acting skills worked in this movie....sort of.

Fantastic film.

If you can, buy it off of amazon--the two disc dvd. It has so much cool stuff on it. during the commentary Sidney Lumet he speaks at length about William Holden, very cool stuff.

the cast is just superb. I'm a big Duvall fan and this movie was one in a great run of films in the 70's for him.

What a prophetic movie! it was very accurate for its time in terms of TV news
