It's in the grind house vein of movies and it sort of plays on "B" moviedom. If you can, buy it off of amazon--the two disc dvd. It has so much cool stuff on it. during the commentary Sidney Lumet he speaks at length about William Holden, very cool stuff. the cast is just superb. I'm a big Duvall fan and this movie was one in a great run of films in the 70's for him.
