  8. Looking forward to hear this new releases. I liked all Rhino releases made in the late 90's with the exception of Brain Salad Surgery, Joseph Palmaccio commited a crime and should not remaster anything after that. Believe me check the vinyl release and compare with that atrocity

  11. QUOTE (CygnusGal @ Sep 2 2012, 08:32 PM) Gran Torino. Clint really makes a very good film. +1 Clint is one of kind, as an actor and director. This movie says so much about life and how you should live it, the lessons the boy learned from the old man are priceless and also funny.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Even The Losers "It's just the normal noises in here!" Yeah, one of the most positive/optimistic songs I know Prince - Gold (from The Gold Experience)

  18. QUOTE (Tombstone Mountain @ Aug 29 2012, 08:19 AM) QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Aug 29 2012, 08:14 AM) I admire you Akron, you've really jumped into the fire with this one. I like most things, but the Toto thing never grabbed me. And I've tried. Good luck with Zenyatta Mondatta. Great album. Sadly I agree. I tried. Aside from the obvious hit singles, which are all great no doubt, they didn't move the needle much for me...and I bought most of their stuff. Did you guys tried Hydra or Kingdom Of Desire ? They are more rock oriented and less over produced. But hey its Toto so it still over produced Turn Back is a nick pick, easily one of the best AOR albums ever made. IMO Toto IV is a classic especially if you like good pop rock music but I can understand some hatred by the critics. They were almost the antithesis of some of comtemporary bands like The Clash or The Cure. And for a most of the time they didnt care **** what people thought about, if its cheesy or elevator music

  23. QUOTE (VampireBiscuits @ Aug 25 2012, 04:58 PM) The Simpsons. That show needed to be put out of it's misery years ago and I say that as someone who grew up with it and used to love it. +1 It should've ended before the millennium bug
