I used to love making fun of that flick!...A non-fat Chris Penn and some great cheeseball acting by Eric Roberts complete with the crappy line in which he screams, "Pop it Tommy! Pop it!" laugh.gif

Eric Roberts always sounds drunk to me. His mullet is makes him look drunk in this!

Chris Penn is always starting a fight no matter what genre of film he's in...

James Earl Jones appears to be mad at the paycheck!

I hadn't seen this one for AGES!

....was a thousand times better than Rocky V and that Tommy (Morrison) Gunn crap! This one's a respectable and decent ending to the Rocky franchise (though the first one will always be the best imho).

I've still not seen this one, I'll have to seek it out ASAP...

My favorite one liner in any movie. Some other good ones as well.

"Brother, life's a bitch and she's back in heat!"

"Mama don't like tattle tales!"

Eric Roberts looks like the kind of guy to provoke a fight then get beat to a pulp. He didn't do too much in Dark Knight but I thought he was well cast as the slimeball Maroni.

Chris Penn DOES look like he would start a fight. And he seemed very natural as Nice Guy Eddie in Reservoir Dogs.

'Twas shocking that Jones even took the role.

Also, EVERYONE handing over their medals in BotB was total crap.

Contest in Iowa: Town to give up smoking for a month and will get $25M from big tobacco if they finish.

1971 movie. lots of people. If you have ever quit smoking, you will laugh out loud at some of the things that happen.

Who is in it: Vincent Gardenia, Bob & Ray, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Newhart, Tom Poston, Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker) and probably the population of Iowa at the time.

It's in the It's a Mad Mad World genre. Silly.

The most boring film ever made! Christopher Lee and his evil nuns must have been blackmailed into doing this one...

Amazing because on the face of it(the title) it seems like an amazing film.

quite excited at the prospect of seeing that, for a moment laugh.gif

Well Christopher Lee is excellent as usual, he does a really nice job as the alien/priest. Other good points are a nice cameo by Lew Ayres and the female lead Sue Lyon is easy on the eyes, but it's so slow and mind-numbingly dull it's unbelievable. Also the story is ridiculous and the "special" effects are laughable even for 1977! laugh.gif
