He didn't do too much in Dark Knight but I thought he was well cast as the slimeball Maroni. Chris Penn DOES look like he would start a fight. And he seemed very natural as Nice Guy Eddie in Reservoir Dogs. 'Twas shocking that Jones even took the role. Also, EVERYONE handing over their medals in BotB was total crap. librarian
Cold Turkey Contest in Iowa: Town to give up smoking for a month and will get $25M from big tobacco if they finish. 1971 movie. lots of people. If you have ever quit smoking, you will laugh out loud at some of the things that happen. Who is in it: Vincent Gardenia, Bob & Ray, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Newhart, Tom Poston, Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker) and probably the population of Iowa at the time. It's in the It's a Mad Mad World genre. Silly.

presto123
The Shrine. A must see for horror buffs. I literally think this is one of my fav horrors from the past decade. Creepy and atmospheric and set in a foggy woods in Poland. Wait til you see what's in the fog. Highly recommended.

Amazing because on the face of it(the title) it seems like an amazing film. quite excited at the prospect of seeing that, for a moment Well Christopher Lee is excellent as usual, he does a really nice job as the alien/priest. Other good points are a nice cameo by Lew Ayres and the female lead Sue Lyon is easy on the eyes, but it's so slow and mind-numbingly dull it's unbelievable. Also the story is ridiculous and the "special" effects are laughable even for 1977!
mazyyz
I think someone posted it earlier which prompted me to rent it. I just saw The Hunter with Willem Defoe. A good movie and yes, it reminds you of what an underrated actor he is.
