Sonatine
"Bullitt" and Steve McQueen The streets of San Francisco + the Mustang + the Dodge Charger + the lean music + the tight editing + McQueen = 10 minutes of pure cinematic brilliance at its most coolest
OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan
Red Tails Big disappointment. The dialogue was horrible, the story was predictable, the characters were unlikable and what I hoped was going to be the real story of the Airmen was just another Hollywood action film full of cliches. presto123
Escape From Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood. Watch it and you will be shocked at how much Shawshank Redemption "borrowed" from it. It's so similar I don't know how they got away with it. And Shawshank is one of my favs of all time. Edited June 26, 2012 by presto123

I agree, the only thing worthwhile was the very end to see how it leads into the 'good' Thing movie. Was a terrible idea
Sonatine
"Hot Fuzz" - a few entertaining moments, and Simon Pegg is pretty decent too. Not as good as "Shaun of the Dead" imo
