I think I'm stalking you! I picked up the tin too and didn't expect it to look as good as it does. Kinda disappointed with the extras though. I would've loved to hear some things from the band instead of all those idiots just praising them. Well worth the wait! In Bon We Trust! 1022.gif

If I'm not mistake, I could SWEAR I saw this in a movie theater many years ago when it was released, and they had a couple of big amps added in below the screen so it could be heard LOUD. Very cool... cool.gif

Hey Gary! How's it going stranger?? Hope the radio show is going well!

You saw this movie in the theater? You lucky bastid!!

Hahaha! I am the "Night Prowler" dude! Hey great rocking minds think alike!!

Thanks for the heads up on the extras, I haven't had the time to crack the seal on mine. It's a beautiful package.

In Bon We Trust for sure!

The Brian Johnson Era sucks "Big Balls!" Just my humble opinion.

"Have A Drink On Me" amigo!

"Back In Black" is EPIC, it's just overplayed.

Yeah, I looked it up and it actually WAS released theatrically in 1980. As memory served, my parents dropped off my brother and I to see it (God knows they weren't interested themselves tongue.gif ). yes.gif

To say that Brian Johnson sucks, is pretty much saying that ALL AC/DC sucks, it's all the same. Not only that. But you're putting down 30 years of hard work, vs. 5.

I mean, really?

I love Bon, but Brian is where it is, and where it will be until the end of time.

Also, am going to pick this up, ftw.

I saw this in a theater in downtown Olympia, Wa. Me and my buds sat in the front row...smuggled in some booze. Must've been 1981 or so. Kicked ass on the big screen.

I've ripped Brian "Suck My" Johnson on this Forum for years!!!!!

I don't mean to be a hater because I know Brian is a nice human and he is a talented son of a bitch but for me he totally sucks in AC/DC.

I still buy the records because I am a Rock 'N Roll Addict. I actually enjoyed "Black Ice" and went to the show, however at the end of the day Brian Johnson is "Cold As Ice" when compared to the greatness that was the Legend BON FUKKING SCOTT!

Well said DOOD!

Sorry AC/D3 but it's true! Brian Johnson totally SUCKS compared to Bon Scott.

I will give him credit for "Back In Black" but really? You love all of that other shite?

The best song on "For Those About To Rock We Salute You" was the title track.

"Flick Of The Switch" was pure rubbish. I wish I could have flicked the switch off!

"Fly On The Wall?" Should be smashed. "Sink The Pink?" Are you kidding me?

Garbage.

"Who Made Who?" Pure shit.

It goes on and on.

The Duck and I are good friends, but he might come to the rescue here. He loves the Brian Johnson stuff.

I hate it.

Again just to stay consistent, I did like "Black Ice."

Best album since "Black In Black."

Do you see a correlation here? Yep, both excellent albums have the word "BLACK" in them.

Cheers!

Indeed! Even "Razor's Edge" is quite dull.

Gotta chime in here- as much as I love Bon and consider that "real" AC/DC I like the Johnson era too. Add me to the list of people who think Flick is an underrated masterpiece. By far my favorite Johnson era album. 1022.gif

Damn! What is wrong with me????

I seem to be the odd man out here now. WTF?

The only thing I can do is put the record on tomorrow night and then write a review. I don't know what else to do.

I actually just listened to FOTS this morning on the train, since I've been on an AC/DC kick lately. There's really no bad songs on it. The knock on AC/DC, that their stuff never progresses or changes, is actually a positive as long as you like their sound. As a buddy of mine once said, they may only have one song, but it's a good one.
