Makes me want to purchase a Peacemaker period. Is yours a Uberti by chance?

Yes it is indeed! A Uberti 1873 Cattleman with case hardened mainframe and brass grip frame in .45 Colt.

Sounds like a gorgeous piece! How do you like it? I've had my eye on this particular model for when I redeploy back to Ft. Riley:

1873 Frisco Revolver

I've been wanting to get into cowboy action shooting for a while, but I've been far too busy as of late.

Nice! I went with the walnut grips myself. I want to get my initials painted on the grips in gold, but I'm playing Hell finding someone who'll do it. I'm also thinking about trying my hand at cowboy action shooting.

I love my Cattleman, it's not only an awesome weapon, it's also art and history at the same time. You can hold it and imagine what it was like to be a Marshall in some boomtown keeping the streets safe for decent folk.

I suppose this isn't exactly an answer to the original question, however...

I've always related to the fantasy of being a Joan Wilder waiting for my Jesse to find me...

a synopsis of one of my most very favorite movies set to great ambient music...

You know, those scenes that just leave you with that feeling of, "Damn, that was badass."

One of my favorites, from Collateral:

Yo homie, is that my briefcase?

What are your favorite "badass" scenes?

is that good movie? Always wondered if it was a watch...
