JohnnyBlaze
Korean barbecue at my favorite BBQ place + a few beers & a couple of highballs. Not my dinner but pretty much what 50% of the cuts looked like (others were thicker & juicier): http://yasakamate.com/yakinikuyasaka/yakiniku.jpg One of the side dishes [again, not my actual pic], chijimi (a type of Korean pancake with veggies and seafood in it with some spicy sauce for dipping): http://www.blues-heaven.com/_src/sc708/chijimi.jpg

Lorraine
Not for tonight, but I bought for Monday two boneless Rib-eye steaks this morning. We haven't had steak in a few years. This will be a great treat and one I am looking forward to. :) Edited May 27, 2016 by Lorraine

Lorraine
No BBQ I'm BBQ'd out on account of the fact that we had a summer home on the bay and every summer my mother would cook for a bunch of freeloader relatives who descended upon us every summer and didn't know us the rest of the year. Consequently, since it was too hot to use an oven, she BBQ'd everything. BBQing holds no charms for me anymore. Sad to say. Lorraine
Lorraine, How did your steaks turn out?I'll let you know tomorrow. I wanted to sauté onions but I have an MD appointment at 7:00 AM and do not want to assault either the nurse or the doctor's sense of smell in case either one has an empty stomach.
