up to g/p there was rush and everybody else. after that it was rush mixed in with everybody else. still over the last 4-5 including the new stuff, rush just blends in with everyone else. i've definitely been listening to a much wider variety of music.

They are in the top 5, they aint the only band on the planet. ...... I will say they are taking up alot of my play time now. JP, ACDC, any southern rock bands, Zep, Beatles, a ton of others too. But the boys are in the top 5 short list.

I'll always have a place in my heart for Rush, but I'm not nearly as gung-ho about them as I was in the '90s when going to HS and college. I discovered other artists and bands that move and excite me, plus you can only listen to the same songs and albums so many times before they lose their edge and meaning with you.

You know it depends on the day and the month and sometimes even the season. Since the Time Machine announcement I have listened to Rush daily but there are times when I go a few days or even weeks without hearing them. There are other bands that I like but maybe not as consistently as Rush. Lately I have been revisiting Yes, which at times were more listened to than Rush...but not in a long time. Also, Rush has been Rush forever and other bands lack the consistency for me.

2nd option for me because I couldn't pick Rush over my other faves which include Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. They are all on the same level then its everything else

Tough to answer this. I go through phases where Rush is the greatest thing to me, and then I come across some new band that gets me all excited that makes rush sound very dated.

 

Right now im kind of indifferent. Not really listening to them at all and I have a couple bands im hardcore into that at times I think are better than Rush. Just depends on my mood.
