The dude beside me in the pic is a Pats fan. I didn't know him. Every time the Falcons scored I jokingly told him that I was sorry. His English wasn't very good but every time the Falcons had a big play or score he'd scream "f**k!" He was the only Pats fan around me so we were giving quite a few high fives as the game progressed. My friend even said it before we got there, "I wonder if there'll be another commentator wearing a pink cowboy hat." We can't figure out why the hell they do it. The answer is obvious though: It's Japan! Some of the pre-game commentary went like this...((Translated))J-commentator 1: Ohhh this is a big stadium.J-commentator 2: Yes. Very big.J-c 1: Later, during the halftime show Lady Gaga will be performing.J-c 2: Lady Gaga. Great. As you can see, the commentating sucks balls but it's funny for my friend and I. They also call the wrong penalties and often incorrectly call first downs. I guess it'd be like Brent Mussburger calling a judo match. I liked the lions because of their association with Detroit, but I had a friend who was stuck on the Green Bay Packers because he used to live in Wisconsin, but I liked them because of the Green and Yellow color scheme of their uniforms...Same for the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, and the imagry of the New Orleans Saints and Black and gold of their uniforms. Colors and the way certain ones went together, was BIG in my childhood. One of the reasons I had to have the BIGGEST box of Crayolas!
