mortkort
QUOTE Geddy Lee tells Rolling Stone the fresh tracks are "upbeat, hard rocking songs" with a Rush trademark: "typically absurdist arrangements." sweet. probably a bit different than s&a then. Let's hope so Rush rarely repeats itself on back-to-back albums. Snakes & Arrows was very different from Vapor Trails. I'm pretty confident they're going in another direction with the new material. And the usually "debate" amongst fans will transpire!

I heard there will be glockenspiel, kazoo and an excessive use of cowbell.

rushgoober
QUOTE Lee tells Rolling Stone the fresh tracks are "upbeat, hard rocking songs" with a Rush trademark: "typically absurdist arrangements." Fingers crossed for a return of the 1977-1981 level of keyboard usage. I doubt it will happen, but hope springs eternal. Caravan sounds like a really cool title. rushgoober
QUOTE (Solitudeix @ Apr 21 2010, 10:12 AM) QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 21 2010, 11:56 AM) For some reason the title "Caravan" has me thinking of the song "Love Train". makes me think of the epic and mysterious "Planet Caravan". Makes me think of the great English progressive rock band Caravan. Also of either a fleet of trucks, a nomadic trek through the desert (including camels) or a gypsy trek (including horse-drawn carts) through medieval Europe.
