Spider-Man!

These two had especially cheesy theme songs! laugh.gif

They kept the FF theme an instrumental, I guess there's not much that rhymes with Fantastic Four! laugh.gif

Here is the winner of the worst theme ever prize! laugh.gif I dare you to listen to it without laughing!

Fritz the Cat

biggrin.gif

One of the earliest examples of Rule 34.

I worked in a video rental store when I was in college. "Fritz The Cat" was forever ending up stuck back in the children's section.

(And btw, it's a colossal bore).

Kind of hard to remember, but:

Underdog
Spiderman
Superfriends
Deputy Dawg
The Jetsons
Mighty Mouse
Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck & assorted Loony Tunes

I'm sure there were plenty more that I can't recall..  unsure.gif

Yeah, I'm having trouble with the recall as well...didn't get into toons that much but ones I seem to remember were:

Flintstones

Yogi

Scooby

Jetsons

Ren and Stimpy

Probably a couple more that will come back later on.

I loved it when they called her that on Beavis and Butt-Head. Then she'd come up with some sarcastic remark and they would have nothing to come back at her with. So they'd just say: Uh..Heh heh.. you suck.

new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif That's one of my guilty pleasures. I love that movie! I have a VHS copy and should probably get the DVD.

I loved Elinor, the voluptuous fairie.

(But I thought we were only talking about television shows. This is a movie.)

Yeah, those were two great shows. Don't make 'em like that anymore.

The Banana Splits.

Hey, wait a minute! We can include LIVE ACTION kids' shows?

In that case, my ultimate favorite was the live-action "Shazam!"

Nuts! I wasn't thinking. CT, I apologize if I've messed up your thread and you intended this to be about animated shows only.

Didn't Banana Splits feature "The Arabian Nights (Knights?)". Remember the donkey that went tornado if you pulled his tail? Splits also had the live action "Danger Island" (Uh-Oh, Chango!).

There was another show (not on Splits) that had a big fat Genie that would say "Yapple dapple" or something like that to cast a spell. confused13.gif

I loved this as well. I think we had a discusion or something previously about this show but will mention it again.

Seems no one had a problem with a show about a teen boy driving through the country with an old man in an RV.

Daria, all the shows that were on Nickelodeon in the mid to late 90's and PBS shows. Beavis and Butthead when My mom wasn't around. King of the hill. The Simpson's and southpark.

And 'Danger Island' featured a very young Jan-Michael Vincent and Tony Todd (the guy who played 'Candyman').

Jan-Michael Vincent was such a good actor (ever seen 'Defiance'? It's great!) but he wound up to be a pretty sad case. I read an interview with him in GQ in the late Eighties. Vincent insisted on being paid for the interview in cash as soon as it was concluded. He then took the money, rented a limo, and purchased the services of a prostitute.

They traveled more than Jack Kerouac with wanderlust, but never seemed to leave California or arrive in a major city.
