The original is classic, but this is amazing .. That's a lofty statement coming from a huge and lifelong CT fan! This band knows who they are and they are making great music...both live and in the studio! It is, by far, my favourite new release of 2017! I find it a tad bit generic but the songs do distinguish themselves after repeated listens. I really like "Floating Down" and "The Rest of My Life". "She's Alright" is a nice bouncy pop song and the cover of "Blackberry Way" is very good. Good stuff from a great band. Boots Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 I learned the chords to The Flame because that is my favorite song of theirs. I heard a busker playing it today at a festival. A while back I sent them a cover I recorded on my cell phone just for fun (Taylor Swift's "Sparks Fly"). Cheap Trick is a fun band.
