Rate a fairly obscure movie....

From the mid-80s, this is probably what you might call a 'cult classic'. Starring Jon Voight (big call, I know, but probably a career best performance), Eric Roberts and an extremely un-glamorous Rebecca De Mornay. No special effects, crashes, explosions, gunplay or anything of the like whatsoever, but an utterly absorbing action/human drama film nonetheless. About as gritty as Hollywood gets. It even has an existentialist side as well! Amazing movie. Wadda ya think?

I give it 9.5/10, one of my all time favourites....

A great movie! I remember it well, but haven't seen it in years. I'll have to track it down.

I used to love this movie. Jon Voight and Eric Roberts trying to out-act each other! Great stuff.

Watched a movie a couple of weeks ago called "Unknown", starring James Caviezel, Barry Pepper, Joe Pantoliano, Greg Kinnear among others. Enjoyed it, very suspensful......reccomended for rainy Sunday afternoons.

THE PARTY with Peter Sellers. Anyone that has seen this, I'm willing to bet, likes it or loves it. And anyone that hasn't seen it, needs to rent it.

Agreed.......priceless comedy......

I've only seen it once. Pretty good (bleak) atmosphere. Images have stuck with me. Good film.

The scenes I always remember are when the two trains crash into each other, and when John Voight is crawling between train cars and he gets his fingers pinched off in the couplings of the two cars....that musta hurt.
