The ballad of DJ Rushgoober

There's this guy called DJ Rushgoober

Dreams of playing drums like Freddie Gruber

but when he's constipated he plays the tuba

Goes on holiday to Castro's Cuba

wakes up in the California county Yuba

Straps a saddle on his wife to lube her

Then uses tweezers and immac to de-pube her

Defends his wife with "a rube, her???"

Has sex wearing rubber suits for scuba

Says Nazi uniforms're so fine they're uber

Claims to be a leg man when he's really a boober

Goober Goober tell me you're not a boober

DJ Rushgoober is a leg-mannot a boober...

boober boober boober boober boober

Gary's "not great, but it'll do" radio voice is funny. His preamble was great, did anyone catch it?

He also made a shout-out to us to, saying something like: "Hopefully my Rush Forum friends are listening, you know who you are."

I'm on-the-air in Albany's capital region again tonight, streaming live on the web at www.pyx106.com. I've already played my Rush for the night - "Limelight" - as well as Heart's "Barracuda" and Zep's "Kashmir." A good mix of great songs and crap to follow...
