CapnKeck
Skyrim I always pick Argonian. Always. Funny, my first character was a Kajit (barehanded pub fights bonus FTW!) and my second was a Breton.Never went with the Lizard guy though maybe one day I will. I went full on one-handed/shield Nord, wearing the heaviest armor I could find. Guy was a juggernaut. Karl is currently lvl 22 argonian (5th character)skill emphasis on sneaking, archery, and light armorpick the argonian because you can BREATHE UNDERWATER - easy pickings for early lvls, sell ALL of the waterbreathing potionshistskin is amazing in that last moment NO MAGIC NO FOOD NO POTIONS but the dragon is so close to deadgreat f***ing game this Good idea! In Morrowind I remember always drowning at the bottom of some stupid lake cave because I never had water-breathing abilities. The one thing I don't like about Skyrim / Morrowind and all those games though is the way they handle weapon charges. Example: I once found a glass jinkblade that had paralysis on it with 200 pts of charge. Awesome, right? But every single time you hit anything with it it'd drain charges and then eventually it was crap unless you recharged it with filled soul gems. Which weren't really super easy to get, at least not for my MW character. I don't know, I kind of wish you could 'turn off' the powers on an item in these games so it wouldn't constantly drain chrages against yard trash like mud crabs and the like. Also RE: Skyrim... NO CONSTANT EFFECT & NO LEVITATE MAKES JACK A SAD PUPPY. Ha! I have this horrible habit of always having more than one, i.e. 1 Dwarven bow of paralysis, 1 Dwarven Bow. Both favorited, both utilized.I've come to enjoy poisoning weapons over enchantments, once your alchemist lvls get up there, it becomes a game changer, your weapon is whatever you need it to be.I also have this horrible habit of WALKING EVERYWHERE. No horses, no fast traveling unless nearly overencumbered (YAY STEED STONE). It leads to many many hours of gathering and poking in dark corners.I've never finished the story mode either :P

adace1
Anyone playing COD: BO3?Played it last week and didn't think too much of it. The story is too weird and confusing and it just got really monotonous by the end of it. I do like the customization and cyber cores though. Right now I'm playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and absolutely loving it.

I always try to dump lydia for derkeethus ASAP. Unlike Fallout's 3, NV, and 4 I never used a companion in Skyrim. They always caused more problems than they solved. Fallout 3's companion system worked like this: Fawkes and Dogmeat and you win. If you don't like "press Fawkes to win" there's always Charon.NV had an awesome system. Boone and Veronica were the best.I'm liking 4's a lot so far.
That One Guy
Halo 5. Not sure how much longer that's gonna last. I'm finally good, but the fun factor of every single preceding Halo title just isn't there. It's too complicated and stressful to be fun. 4/10, campaign is also silly. Del_Duio
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Here goes hundreds of hours of my life. I actually own this but stopped playing after maybe 10 hours or so. Is it just me or do the controls seem "off" for this game? (I have the 3DS one).Like the guy moves way way too slow or something. I wish I could get into it again, bah maybe I will eventually who knows? I have to pick up my preorder of another 3DS game tonight, "Stella Glow", which is supposed to be like FFT chibi meets Luminous Arc. I played the demo before and liked it so here's hoping the whole game's as good.

They almost make the game feel more immersive because of the weight of your character similar to Dark Souls. I'm playing it on the Wii U, though, so I'm not sure if there's a big difference there. Del_Duio
I'm sure I'll give it another shot, I mean I did pay like $40 for it lol. Stella Glow (so far) is really pretty entertaining. Kind of a weird word to use, but there you go.There are some pros and cons I'm seeing straight away- PRO:Excellent graphicsGood musicVery good production valuesStory is interesting enough, and there's a shit ton of dialogue (most of it is voiced too).Simple, not super complex like Disgea CON:Simple, not super complex like Disgea. I'd like a bit more.Battles are pretty slow, slower than FFT and that's saying something.Enemy AI is pretty stupid. I'm actually wanting the enemies on the far side of the field to charge my guys but they just wait there for whatever reason.Game overall is too easy. I'm used to Disgea and Fire Emblem and this is way way easier than those. POSSIBLE CON:I think this game could be offensive to women possibly, but not to me. There's a lot of Waifu to be had, who need the main character's approval too many times IMO. You also have these strange cutscenes where you "tune" the girls by telling them crap they wanna hear and get them to like you better or something (I'm not really sure just what these scenes actually do, to be honest.) They need to all go and watch Alien or something, to see that *gasp* a female can get the job done without a dude telling them IT'S GONNA' BE OKAY. Those Japanese and their crazy social ideals and etc lol. Hmmmm. Edited November 19, 2015 by Del_Duio

CygnusX-1Bk2
I'm a good ways into Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It's like the 9th game in the series I've played. Seems like they've finally tightened up player movement. It's much smoother than previous versions, but still will exhibit the inexplicable path impediments at inopportune moments. The last two have gotten back to the core game mechanic, so no more dreaded ship maps. Not that they didn't have good moments, but I digress. It's got all of the AC elements that I like on a giant map of 1860s London. Also just picked up the first Star Wars Battlefront I didn't have a hand in. It's Battlefront alright. Couldn't be a Star Wars game without the obligatory "protect the shield generator" mission. Looking forward to the inevitable "escort the convoy" mission. 'Cause we never did that either. In the Rogue Squadron series, or the first 2 BF games. I've finally been gone from LucasArts longer than I was there, even though it's been gone a few years now. Wish I could have worked on this one, if only for my personal continuity. Also been hitting the Batman DLC which has been better the last month with quite a bit left to come. Yay. CygnusX-1Bk2
Yeah Sam & Max are a lot of fun. A bunch of former LEC (LucasArts Entertainment Company) guys formed Telltale and took Sam & Max with 'em. We tended to call the company LEC internally, but some of the other companies called us Arts. Now it's gone...

I like the duality of using both weapons, and it deals ridiculous damage if you just learn how to dodge effectively. Greatswords is one of the few classes I haven't tried yet... Del_Duio
There was another Lucas Arts game from way back called Herc's Adventures for the PS1 that was awesome and pretty funny too.Great 2 player co-op action as either Hercules, Jason (of the Agronauts fame I think), or Atlanta (the poor man's Athena?) http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JQ5VfWFQswk/UA7N3xLec5I/AAAAAAAABbQ/4pPaNdD7PyI/s1600/17.jpg But for now, just got Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS. I had the Gamecube one and played it off and on for like 7 years. Crazy. And yes, I'm aware I'm like 30 years too old to be playing something that looks like this lol. http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/34600000/Animal-Crossing-New-Leaf-animal-crossing-34657358-1920-1200.jpg Edited November 25, 2015 by Del_Duio
