(I looked through the lyrics a couple of times as it would be this or that album and then looked for a song that fit - but the idea of "Us vs. Them" or " They vs. Me" is really, really common in Neil's writing. Nice choice! And Geddy has a way of singing rhymes that are appropriate for many, many albums. It's been a while but this "game" is a great way to re-visit songs and re-read the words of all of them!)

Test For Echo

 

Flying through hallucination
Distant voices, signal fires

Nocturne, Vapor Trails.

 

That was a tricky one! My brain searched for lyrics for the past week or so while I went about my business. A sticky-note on my bulletin board when I walk by. Witch Hunt? Passage to Bangkok? Nope. Then I could hear Geddy sing signal fires and it felt like Countdown. Nope. Ah, maybe the strange voice in Cygnus? Wrong.

I had to finally look through album/Cd liners to look for the key words. I don't know Vapor Trails as well as the other albums but it means a lot, about 6 years after the previous album - so rare for the band - and the only album to be re-released with different mixing. They were on fire! It needs to be loud and I need to be in the mood. I did play it after my discovery here, thanks TheGhostRider, that was a fun journey. Anyways, back to business!
