tangy
QUOTE (priest_of_syrinx @ Nov 3 2006, 05:38 PM) Does anybody here have a CD called "An Evening With John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess"? I bought it at Best Buy last week and it's amazing! It has Rudess on piano and Petrucci mainly on acoustic guitar and I think the songs are all from Liquid Tension Experiment, but I'm not really sure. If you like DT, it's a must have. Only one of those songs is from the LTE projects to the best of my knowledge. State of Grace is from the first LTE disc. Great disc from the Favored Nations label. TheMeek
Just bought the score DVD and I've got a few things to say: 1. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence live is like porn for the musically inclined. It was amazing. 2. After hearing him earlier in the tour and then hearing him on the DVD on their last show, I've got to say that Labrie never sounds as good live as he does in the studio whereas Geddy always sounds better live. 3. I've seen "virtuostic" pianists like Chick Corea live but after seeing this DVD it proved what I've long known: Jordan Rudess is the best alive. By the way, what's with the "fingerboard" and the stringed instrument beneath it that he uses during Octavarium? 4. I was very disappointed that they did not include the "Clockwork Orange" intro. I thought it was very creepy and cool and added to the show.

Larks
This is really funny to see mike when he looks soo seriously and mature, unlike DT live shows or studio videos when he looks and acts like a little child on steroids DT ROCKS
