1-0-0-1-0-0-1 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Don't know too many of his songs, but this one and Dream Weaver are pretty awesome, and were very ahead of their time. RIP. 2
blueschica Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Oh no! I'm really sorry to hear this. I enjoyed Dream Weaver and a few other songs quite a bit; he had a compelling voice. RIP, Gary.
Principled Man Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Dream Weaver was one of those songs that took this teenager to a new level of musical experience. The trippy, dreamlike sounds were mesmerizing. I was compelled to put on the headphones, turn off all the lights, lie back in a comfy chair and listen to it again and again…. 2
invisible airwave Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Wayne's World introduced 11 year old me to that and Ballroom Blitz. Strangely enough, around the first time I heard on MTV with Roll the Bones. "She's a babe! Schwing!" RIP
Chicken hawk Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 R.I.P. Gary You music will live on and be enjoyed for decades. Thank you. 1
